The 72 par
international championship Indiana golf course was inspired
by the top quality desert courses of Arizona; played thoughtfully,
the Indiana can be both fun and testing, and it is always
visually stunning; bright green fairways contrast vibrantly
with the surrounding arid landscape of cactus, rock and
flowering desert.
If you are
looking for an unique golf experience you have arrived on
the right spot . The Desert Springs Golf Course is the first
true Arizona, California (Palm Springs) style desert Golf
Course in Europe.
The golf course
has been built to the full USGA specifications. The Desert
Springs Golf Club is an outstanding test, yet suitable for
all levels of ability as fairways have been kept generously
wide but the springs, watercourses, dry river beds, rocks,
thousands of cacti and numerous bunkers will also test the
skills of the low handicapper.
The 18-hole
'Indiana' golf course opened in 2000. Another 18-holes are
due to open next year. The Clubhouse,is partially built
above the lake near the 18th hole and will afford the golfer
a refreshing and confortabale surrounding after a round
of golf on this jewel in the famous desert of Almería
